    When I visited Boston some 20 plus years ago, I stumbled upon a quaint store in The Quincy Market called The Brass Butterfly. I fell in love with the mini vase plant rooters of all shapes and sizes. I had to buy the heart shaped one with the Brass Butterfly icon. It hung in my country kitchen for many many years. The children always enjoyed the lovely trailing vines that grew in the sunshine as it hung from my window curtains. The children grew to adults. The glass root vase was broken. The heart was tucked away, but never forgotten. 28 years later, It moved with me to the city, in upstate NY. I hung it in my broom closet, hoping to one day replace the glass. During a random home sale, I happened across a brass butterfly magnet someone was selling. I knew what it was and bought it instantly. It too has a special place in my heart because of that memorable store in Boston and my timeless root vase hanger. Recently I googled The Brass Butterfly, and much to my delight and surprise, there they were, with a website and Vermont location. I ordered several glass replacements and two additional heart shaped root planters for my daughters who have homes of their own. These are their Mothers’ Day gifts. I’m certain the quaint nostalgia will bring tears to their eyes. Thank you for staying in business all these years. Thank you for making a product that is timeless and can be shared to many generations. My grandchildren will enjoy watching the beautiful vines grow in the sunshine of their Mommas windows. The new ones are a bit different from mine, but they are just as pretty. The glass seems more durable. Thankfully the new root vases fit my old hanger!!! So happy!!!

    I ordered this rooter for my sister's birthday and she loves it. When I placed the order, I forgot to tell them it was a gift, emailed the next morning, and they included a Happy Birthday card and still shipped it out the same day. Unheard of customer service these days - I will order from Brass Butterfly again!
