The picture attached to this post is our Heart Rooter Hanger being prepared to weld. Our welding process includes using heat to join our hanger joints. Due to the heat our copper coated wire turns black. This is a natural process and is part of the handmade nature of our products. Each welding joint is unique and adds a one-of-a-kind look to all our hangers. Our hangers that are gold vein or powder coated are completely covered with a coating so the black does not show.
